Here Come The Girls

Also we only chose the name Alex because there are many variations and can be both for a boy or a girl, so ashman don't panic!

A Fun Exercise

Another one of Ciaran's mini challenges.
Task was to draw the evolution of an artist based on the Pokemon style evolutions drawn by these various artists on this fun website: http://portraitdex.tumblr.com/page/1.

I recommend everyone has a go. Works as a nice short exercise in style/ character design. I like the lines but it probably needs colour and yes I have been watching a lot of anime recently....

It WILL Be Fine

Minor disasters in Disposition land.
Well. To say its been an eventful week would be an understatement but its  a testament to anything that can go wrong will thankfully we've survived just. Between illness on both our parts and computers requiring reinstalled system tlc its been hectic.

But its worked out ok and I can finally confirm that our halloween monster "smokey BOB" [ nickname courtesy of the ever useful Pat Imrie] is finally being modelled in 3D so look out for some potentially lovely smoke tests soon. Also all the background layouts have been drawn. Win. Below is the badly scanned low angle street.

Tinted Tasche

Ashley sent me through some characters to colour for Mouse-tache. I particularly love the Reinhard mouse..

Backfire To The Future

This is a layout I coloured up for Brian and Joe's fourth year film Mawkin's Backfire. The short is based around a Scarecrow that attempts to protect his corn-field from the depredations of two crows, that make a mockery of him. Their blog can be found here.  Its deliberately done in a simplistic Tex Avery style in the fashion of his film Billy Boy which can be found on youtube here

100 Post Panda!

"King of Bears" [Attenburgh, David]
Post number 100 so why not.
A doodle sketch of a panda or an exercise in character design challenged to me by Ciaran. The boy is a spice godling who's mission it is to collect the world's spices, the Panda his loyal companion only eats bamboo.
