Now this is rather scary. I may have gone overboard on the colours as I was in a rather angry mood so its rough but I think its working, if nothing else its making Smokey Bob look like a camp kitten...

Sneak Preview

This is a coloured frame of the clown which Brian Lindsay of Mawkin's Backfire animated for us. Not the best thing to colour up at night but hopefully i've reached the appropriate level of terrifying. Full scene hopefully coming tomorrow, you have been warned....

A Sweet Disposition Scene 13 Parts 1 and 2

Finally an idea of what the final film will look like. It might have taken me so much longer to composite and colour than i would of liked but here's Sc. 13, one of the longest and most complicated. It's in two parts and requires tweaking but hooray for progress...

More Friday right now means Mawkin's madness. Again the credit for the fantastic animation goes to Brian Lindsay but I have to say I've been learning so much by formatting his frames one at a time, its amazing stuff, even if Brian doesn't believe in dope-sheets.  

Bounce Cycle...

..yes bounce cycle. Why walk when you can use the exploit the squash and stretch principles of animation. Animation credit is all Brian Lindsay, Im just background/colour/composite and I have to say this projects just too much fun. Stressful but dynamic and impossible to work on without a smile.

I'm very aware these past few scenes for Mouse-tasche have been pretty dull. I've been trying very briefly to liven Scene 37 up but its still not right. To put what I'm having to do in context the top video below is some coloured frames by Ashley and Georgina which I have been given and the bottom is the first take of the things which I have done to it . . .

Mawkin'd Backfire Scene 09

As I was compositing this scene for Mawkin's Backfire, my computer inexplicable reverted to the Macbook Screen of Blue Death. Thankfully after internal panicking its multicoloured and functioning [for now] and while the animation belongs to Brian Lindsay and Joe McMahon I have an apt and colourful composition of my expression at the time...
